As a structural subdivision of the hospital, the outpatient clinic was launched in 1954. At first, there were 5 medical branches (paediatrics, rheumatology, phthisiology, infectious diseases, dentistry).
Nowadays, the Children’s Consulting and Diagnostics Center is the only one in the region that provides special and tertiary outpatient care for children under 18 years old. There are doctors working in 23 disciplines. They are highly qualified professionals, familiar with modern medical, diagnostics and rehabilitation techniques.
Experts such as immunologists, pediatric allergists, pulmonologists, oncologists, hematologists, urologists, nephrologists, pediatric neurosurgeons, pediatric endocrinologists, audiologists are unique and have no equals in Kherson and Kherson region.

Our diagnostic facilities offer allergy tests, audiometry (including early hearing detection in infants from the first days of life), radiological and endoscopic examinations (fibrogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy), ultrasound examinations of organs, echocardiography, ECG, functional examinations of the cardiovascular, vascular, nervous and respiratory systems, autorefractometry (vision computer-aided diagnostics), biomicroscopy, laboratory tests (general clinical, biochemical, immunological, bacteriological, hormone content tests), etc.
In addition, there are physiotherapy rooms, massage rooms, therapeutic physical training and mechanotherapy rooms, procedure and vaccination facilities.
Patients are consulted by the heads of special inpatient units of the hospital and chief experts of the Department of Health of the Regional State Administration.
The Center harmoniously combines the use of modern outpatient methods to run diagnostics and treat children with the introduction of rehabilitation and prevention programs that reduce the incidence and disability of children.
Reliable assistants to doctors are a team of nurses: out of 18 experts, there are 9 nurses of the highest qualification category, 3 first-category nurses and 6 second-category nurses.
Every year, over 80,000 children are provided high-quality outpatient care at the Center, and more than 9,000 children are urgently treated at special centers for children with acute injuries.
For the convenience of parents, the hospital has a room for mothers and children located on the third floor of the Center.

When applying to the Center, you need to have:
- An electronic referral letter to be consulted by a specialized expert from a pediatrician/family doctor that you have entered into an agreement with or from a specialized expert;
- Child’s birth certificate and passport of one of the child’s parents or legal representatives;
- Record of the child’s development or outpatient’s medical card (form 112/o).
In case of a child’s illness, you can consult a pediatrician, gynecologist, psychiatrist without an electronic referral letter.
